Effective 1 June 2026, the airport lounge access benefit for UOB Visa Infinite Metal Card will be revised. Cardmembers will receive 12 complimentary lounge passes per 12-month membership period, replacing the current unlimited access.

All existing cardmembers will continue to enjoy unlimited lounge access until 31 May 2026. On 1 June 2026, 12 complimentary lounge passes will be automatically credited and reflected in your Airport Companion App.

We encourage you to check your Airport Companion App on or after 1 June 2026 to view your updated lounge pass balance.

From 1 July 2025, the existing SMS One-Time Password (OTP) authentication for mobile wallet provisioning (adding UOB Cards to mobile wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay & Samsung Pay) will be progressively changed to Digital token authentication to protect you against potential scams.

Please note that SMS OTP authentication will no longer be available. Customers without digital access or digital token will be notified to set up before proceeding with mobile wallet provisioning.

With effect from 1 July 2025, we will cease to act on any third-party authorisation form authorising other person(s) to act for or on behalf of an accountholder for all UOB Credit and/or Debit Card account(s).

From the effective date:

(i) third-party authorisation forms will no longer be made available;

(ii) we will no longer accept submissions of third-party authorisation forms; and

(iii) we will no longer accept instructions given by any person authorised to act for or on your behalf pursuant to any third-party authorisation form submitted to and accepted by us previously. For the avoidance of doubt, third parties authorised to act pursuant to an order of court, a Lasting Power of Attorney, or a Power of Attorney, or such other authorisation document as we may accept at our discretion.

Due to a system upgrade, all UOB Mastercard Card(s), including your supplementary cards, which have been added to Apple Pay mobile wallet prior to 4.30pm 29 Dec 2024 will not work from 1 Jan 2025. To avoid disruption, please remove and add the card(s) back into your Apple Pay mobile wallet. We apologise for this inconvenience caused. Refer to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for more details.

With effect from 16 December 2024, the UOB Cardmembers Agreement, UOB Debit Cardmember Agreement, UOB Corporate Cardmember Agreement (Personal Liability) and the Terms and Conditions Governing Digital Services will be updated to, in particular, reflect the latest requirements relating to the duties of accountholders under the latest revisions made to the E-Payment User Protection Guidelines published by the Monetary Authority of Singapore on 24 October 2024.

With effect from 3rd Nov 2023, PayNow transfers to the registered PayNow proxies of the following entities will not be allowed if UOB CashPlus is the source of funds for such transfer:

• Singapore Pools (Private) Limited
• Marina Bay Sands Pte Ltd.
• Resorts World At Sentosa Pte. Ltd.

Notice: With effect from 1 Jun 2023, the prevailing interest rate for computing finance charges applicable to your card account will be revised from 26.9% p.a. to 27.8% p.a. Computation of finance charges reflected in your statement (including charges shown under Important Information to Note) will be based on the revised prevailing interest rate of 27.8% p.a.

Notice: With effect from 1 Jun 2023, the effective interest rate for cash advance charges applicable to your card account will be revised from 28% p.a. to 28.5% p.a. Computation of the cash advance charges reflected in your statement (including charges shown under Important Information to Note) will be based on the revised cash advance interest rate of 28.5% p.a.
