Dr Vichaya Mukdamanee, D.Phil., is currently a Dean of the Faculty of Painting Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University, Thailand, and also an assistant professor of the Faculty’s Department of Painting. Dr Mukdamanee received his Bachelor Degree of Fine Art (Painting) from Faculty of Painting Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University. As a Fulbright scholar, he then received his Master Degree of Fine Art from Pratt Institute in New York. Dr Mukdamanee completed his PhD in Fine Art (Practice-led Research) at The Ruskin School of Art, University of Oxford, United Kingdom.
Dr Mukdamanee has performed various roles relating to art – as an artist, a curator, and art teacher. He also gives lectures as a visiting art instructor and speaker in several institutions and venues. In addition, he writes articles in art magazines and art catalogues. For the past 10 years, Dr Mukdamanee’s artworks have been created and exhibited in various media and techniques, such as painting, sculpture, video, and installation. He focuses on the narrative and perceptions from city life, especially the everyday life that gets reflected in the design and function of found objects and readymade. The artworks act as evidence of the endless journey of artistic learning, which also mirrors the concept of experimentation and trial-and-error, while coping and questioning the experience of living in a rapidly changing society.
Dr Mukdamanee has had numbers of solo exhibitions both inside and outside of Thailand, including City Life, Bangkok at Thailand Cultural Centre, Bangkok (2007), Combination: Vermont at Vermont Studio Center, USA (2007), Urban Motion at WhiteSpace Gallery in Bangkok (2008), Industrial Reflection at Donald Weiss Gallery, New York City (2009), Art-ificial Being at Thailand’s National Gallery in Bangkok (2011), Conditioned; Unconditioned at North Wall Arts Centre, Summertown, Oxford (2015), Becoming (Un)conditioned at Suan-Mokha Bangkok and Ratchadamnoen Contemporary Art Centre in Bangkok (2016), Strive to Fail at Thailand’s National Gallery in Bangkok (2017), and recently Expected Unforeseen at 333 Anywhere Bangkok (2020). His artwork has also been shown in many group exhibitions, such as The Mysterious Lines at Smile Gallery in Philadelphia (2009), Diverse Harmony at The Art House, Singapore (2010), 26th Asian International Art Exhibition at Seoul Art Centre (2011), and Cut Thru: The View on 21st Century Thai Contemporary Art at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore, Singapore (2011).
As a curator, Dr Mukdamanee has managed and curated several exhibitions in the national and international levels. For example, during 2017-2018, he was one of the assistant curators of Thailand Biennale, Krabi, 2018, an exhibition organised by Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, Ministry of Culture that focused on the site-specific artworks in the outdoor natural environment in Krabi Province. Recently, Dr Mukdamanee was a co-curator and co-organiser of International Art Workshop (Archade 2019) at the Faculty of Painting Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University, Nakornpathom Province, Thailand.

Mr Vincent Leow has been pushing boundaries in his practice since 1980s and is known for his use of different mediums such as sculpture, painting, printmaking, drawing, performance art, video, and installation. As a central figure in the art collective scene, he was an early member of The Artists Village in the 1980s. In the following decade, he co-founded collective Plastique Kinetic Worms (PKW) and served as its artistic director, leading exhibitions and programmes in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
As an educator, Vincent dedicated decades to art education; from LASALLE College of the Arts to University of Sharjah’s College of Fine Arts and Design in the UAE to School of the Arts, Singapore (SOTA). He has participated extensively in group exhibitions and held many solo shows and represented Singapore at the 52nd Venice Biennale (2007). In 2005, he founded Richard Koh Fine Art (RKFA), opening its first gallery space in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Today, RKFA operates multiple locations across Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, and is recognised as a pioneer in introducing contemporary art to Malaysia and the broader region.

Dr Agung Hujatnika, M.Sn, also known as Agung Hujatnikajennong, is a lecturer at the Visual Art Study Program, Faculty of Arts and Design, Bandung Institute of Technology in Bandung, Indonesia where he has shaped Indonesia's curatorial and art management discourse for over two decades.
He received his doctorate from his alma mater on art curatorship in 2012 and has led the Master Programme in Art Management and Curatorship since 2013. His academic contributions to the school’s curriculum include courses on Art Management (undergraduate and master's degrees), Art Studies, Communication of Art and Sociology of Art (undergraduate).
As an independent curator, Dr Hujatnika has organised major national and international exhibitions, collaborating with institutions across Indonesia and abroad. His curatorial projects include: OK Video – Jakarta Video Festival (with ruangrupa, 2003, 2005, 2011); Heri Dono's solo exhibition, Nobody’s Land (2008); Fluid Zones, Jakarta Biennale (2009), Exquisite Corpse – The Bandung Pavilion, Shanghai Biennale (2012); Jogja Biennale – Equator #2: Not a Dead End (2013); Concept Context Contestation, at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (2013); 1001 Martian Homes – at the Indonesian Pavilion at Venice Biennale (2017); Art Turns. Ms Alia Swastika is a curator, researcher, and writer whose practice over the past decade has focused on decoloniality and feminism. Her projects decentralise art, rewrite art history, and foster local activism.
As the Director of the Biennale Jogja Foundation in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, she continues her research on Indonesian female artists during Indonesia’s New Order period. Alia founded Ark Galerie in Yogyakarta, Indonesia and served as its Program Director from 2007 to 2017.
She co-curated the Biennale Jogja XI Equator #1 (2011), co-directed the 9th Gwangju Biennale (2012), and curated contemporary art exhibitions for the Europalia Arts Festival (2017), presenting at Oude Kerk in Amsterdam, Museum of Contemporary Art (M HKA) in Antwerp, and the Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art - Ghent (SMAK) in Ghent, Belgium. Ms Intan Rafiza is a curator, performance artist and art professional with over two decades of experience in the Malaysian contemporary art scene.

Mr Khairuddin Hori is a Director and Partner of Chan + Hori Contemporary in Singapore, bringing extensive international experience as a contemporary art curator.
He was previously Deputy Director of Artistic Programming at Palais de Tokyo in Paris, Senior Curator at the Singapore Art Museum, overseeing Singapore's national collection for contemporary art, and Senior Curator for Curatorial Development at the National Heritage Board in Singapore. Known for his multidisciplinary and unconventional curatorial approach, Khairuddin's work draws influence from his background in theatre and art creation.
His projects include Creative Intersections (2022 and 2023) at FUNAN, Entwine - Maybank Women Eco-Weavers meet Southeast Asian Artists (2019) at the National Museum of Singapore, and Atypical Singapore (2018–2020), which toured Moscow, Yangon, New Delhi, and Bangkok. He also curated D/SINI (2018) at Gillman Barracks and LOCK ROUTE (2017) at the same location. Notable exhibitions under his direction include In Praise of Shadows (2016), a sustainable light art festival at Marina Bay, The Light of the Light (2016) by the Quistrebert Brothers, and Tianzhuo Chen (2015) at Palais de Tokyo, Paris. Other key projects include Sous la Lune (2015) at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, Singapore, and Secret Archipelago (2015) at Palais de Tokyo, Paris. Mr Amrit Chusuwan is one of the country’s most prominent artists, who has received many honourable mentions in Thailand. He is currently a consultant for the Songkhla Old Town Foundation and a member and secretary of the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre Foundation Committee. In his early career, he received a scholarship and a diploma from the ASP Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland.
His artworks have received numerous prizes, such as being the 2nd Prize recipient at the 30th National Exhibition of Art in Bangkok, Thailand and receiving the Silpa Bhirasri Creativity Grants in 2002. He has organised many international exhibitions; and has served as a curator and artist consultant for the Venice Biennale in Italy. In 2020, he was honoured as the National Artist of Thailand in Visual Arts (Painting-Mixed Media).

He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Silpakorn University, Thailand and later earned a certificate in Printmaking with a British Council scholarship from the UCL Slade School of Fine Art, University College London, England.

He also illustrated The Story of Mahajanaka, a book by His Majesty King Rama IX of Thailand.

Ms Loredana Pazzini-Paracciani is an independent scholar and curator specialising in Southeast Asian contemporary art. Having lived in Thailand and Singapore for over 25 years, her work focuses on critical sociopolitical issues, advocating for a counter-hegemonic and non-Western-centric discourse. Her writings have been published in academic journals such as Visual Anthropology (Routledge, United Kingdom), Photographies (Routledge and University of Westminster, United Kingdom), and Frames Cinema Journal (University of St Andrews, United Kingdom). She also co-edited Interlaced Journeys: Diaspora and the Contemporary in Southeast Asian Art (2020), published by Osage Art Foundation, Hong Kong.
Loredana has curated numerous international exhibitions, including Homecoming/Eventually (2021) at UP Vargas Museum, Manila, Philippines; Diaspora: Exit, Exile, Exodus of Southeast Asia (2019) at MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum, Chiang Mai, Thailand; and Architectural Landscapes: SEA in the Forefront for InToAsia: Time-Based Art Festival (2015) at Queens Museum, New York, United States. Mr Dang Xuan Hoa is the Chairman of the Painting Arts Council of Vietnam Fine Arts Association. He participated in the work and artistic activities of the Indochina Arts Programme (AIP) in Boston Massachusetts American in 1994-1995 and had exhibitied in America, Europe and Asia since 1988. In 2008, he was in the top 10 of Larasati Auction “Southeast Asia Art” in Amsterdam and top 12 of Sotheby’s Auction “Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Painting” in Hong Kong.

Mr Le Thua Tien is a leading artist and has lectured at the Hue University College of Arts, Vietnam from 1989 to 2008. His introspective works explore memory and contemplation. Though he works across various mediums—including painting, installation, sculpture, and community-based art projects—each piece reflects a deep spirituality. His most recent works combine mixed media and lacquer, presenting traditional Vietnamese medium in innovative and contemporary ways.
He has exhibited extensively both internationally and within Vietnam. He has also participated in residencies in Australia, Cambodia, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, and United States of America. His works are held in private collections worldwide and in public collections in Japan, the Netherlands, and Vietnam.

Mr Do Hoang Tuong graduated from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts, Vietnam. He belongs to an influential generation of abstract painters in Southern Vietnam in the 1990s. After his final abstract painting exhibition in 2000, he shifted to figurative art. His paintings, grounded in classical perspectives and narrative space, aim to create a new subjectivity — expressing the desire to repair loss and restore the violent destruction of the human condition.
His works have been featured at art fairs in Singapore and Italy, and are part of the public collections at the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts, Hanoi, and the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum. Dr Pamela Nguyen Corey researches and teaches modern and contemporary art history, focusing on Southeast Asia within broader transnational Asian and global contexts. Prior to joining Fulbright University Vietnam in January 2021, she was an assistant professor in the History of Art and Archaeology department at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, England.
She has published extensively in academic journals, exhibition catalogues, platforms for artistic and cultural commentary, and is the author of The City in Time: Contemporary Art and Urban Form in Vietnam and Cambodia (University of Washington Press, 2021). She also co-edited Voice as Form, a special issue of Oxford Art Journal (2020) which delves into recent research on voice, sound, and aurality in contemporary art.
