The Malaysia government has made a commitment for a 45% reduction in energy emissions by 2030. This commitment is supported by the extension of Green Income Tax Exemption (GITE) and Green Investment Tax Allowance (GITA) to 2023^.

Actual figures may vary, depending on prevailing site conditions, energy usage behaviour, asset type and/or the replacement costs of the energy efficiency project undertaken.
