About U-Energy
The Malaysia government has made a commitment for a 45% reduction in energy emissions by 2030. This commitment is supported by the extension of Green Income Tax Exemption (GITE) and Green Investment Tax Allowance (GITA) to 2023^.
UOB is the first bank in Asia to provide an integrated platform that simplifies the adoption of energy efficiency projects for building owners. With this platform, businesses can easily connect with U-Energy partners (energy service companies (ESCOs)), and finance their energy efficiency projects through the programme’s different financing options.

Our U-Energy 50GWh Energy-Saving Race aims to encourage building owners like yourself, to embark on your energy efficiency journey with this exclusive U-Energy promotion.

Results are calculated based on the assumption that these enhancements would bring your building to the top 10% of the energy usage intensity range as detailed in Singapore's Building Construction Authority (BCA) Building Energy Benchmarking Report (Statistics and Figures) 2020, taking into account Malaysia's electricity tariffs and other relevant adjustments. All results shown are estimates and for illustration purposes only. Actual figures may vary, depending on prevailing site conditions, energy usage behaviour, asset type and/or the replacement costs of the energy efficiency project undertaken.
