Use this EV calculator to see how much cost savings and carbon emission savings can be generated by switching from an Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicle to an Electric Vehicle (EV).
Disclaimer:
- Results do not include insurance and road tax differentials and are calculated based on the assumption that the electric vehicle indicated runs on battery with zero tailpipe emissions. All results shown are estimates, based on assumptions and for illustration purposes only, actual figures may vary.
- If the “tailpipe CO2 emission of your ICE vehicle” field is left blank, the default value used in the calculation for passenger and commercial vehicles is Toyota Corolla Altis at 139gCO2/km and Toyota Hiace at 228gCO2/km respectively.
- You can refer to LTA Fuel Cost Calculator for CO2 emission of your vehicle.
- The petrol/diesel and AC/DC charging prices used in the calculation are referenced from Shell and SP Mobility respectively, as at 3 July 2023
