general informationThis section is intended as a quick consumer guide only. It contains the principal terms and conditions of the UOB Preferred Platinum Card. These terms and conditions shall be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions of the UOB Cardmember Agreement. In the event of any inconsistency, these terms and conditions shall prevail insofar as they apply to the UOB Preferred Platinum Card.

Annual Membership Fee
Your UOB Preferred Platinum Card comes with an annual fee that would be debited to your new card account. You may be pleased to know that on your Card anniversary date, if you have enough unused UNI$ in your card account, your UNI$ will be automatically used to pay your annual fee.

Credit Limit
Your UOB Card Credit Limit is up to two times your monthly income. If you have had a salary increment, simply furnish us with the relevant income documents so that we can revise your Credit Limit accordingly.

Minimum Monthly Repayment
With your UOB Card, you may choose to either settle the balance of your card account in full or pay only a Minimum Payment. This Minimum Payment is calculated as follows:

Interest
We do not charge you interest if the full payment of the total Outstanding Balance is created to your Card Account by the Payment Date. If full payment of the Outstanding Balance is not credited to your Card Account by the Payment Date, interest will be calculated on a daily basis at 24% per annum on all Outstanding Balance, subject to a minimum charge of S$2.50 per month, from the date the card transaction is posted to your Card Account, whether or not the card transaction was posted before or after the Statement Date.

Cash Advance Charges
Cash Advances are available over bank counters and at ATMs in Singapore and abroad. A processing fee of 5% of the Transaction Amount or S$15, whichever is higher, will be charged to your card account. Plus, interest will be calculated on a daily basis at 24% per annum from the date of each Cash Advance until the date payment is made in full.

Late Charges
A late payment charge of S$45 per month applies if the Minimum Payment specified in the Statement is not received by us by the Payment Date.

Lost / Stolen Card
If your Card is lost or stolen or if your PIN is disclosed, please call us immediately at our UOB Platinum Membership Services Hotline: 1800 355 1212 to inform us. You will not be liable for any card transaction effected after we have received your notification of such loss, theft or disclosure.

Replacement Fee
The replacement fee for UOB Preferred Platinum Card is S$20, and is non-waivable.

No Show Charge
If you have used the Credit Card Reservation Service to reserve any accommodation at a hotel and failed to arrive before check-out time the day following the scheduled arrival or if you fail to cancel the reservation prior to 6pm (local time at the establishment) on the scheduled arrival date, a No Show Charge equivalent to the rate charged by the establishment for one night's lodging for each room reserved will be charged to your Card account.

Retrieval Fee
A fee of S$5 will be charged to your Card account for each retrieval of a sales draft. For retrieval of statements that are more than 3 months old, a fee of S$10 per copy applies.

Service Charge For Insufficient Funds
A handling fee of S$40 will be charged to your Card account for any returned cheque and S$10 for any rejected InterBank GIRO payment.

How To Make Payment

For your convenience, payment may be made in these 8 easy ways:

1. Cash Payment
Cash payment is accepted at any local UOB Group branch.

2. Cheque Payment
Cheque payment is accepted at any local UOB Group branch. Alternatively, cheque payment can be mailed to UOB Card Centre. Cheques should be crossed and made payable to UOB Card Centre.

3. Interbank Giro Payment
Interbank GIRO payments are debited from your designated bank account on the due date of your statement. A GIRO form is enclosed for your convenience.

4. UOB Personal Internet Banking
Online payment via UOB Personal Internet Banking service can be made with a UOB Savings/Current account. For details, visit www.uobgroup.com.

5. Payment At UOB ATMs
Payment may be made at selected UOB ATMs through a UOB Bank account and ATM PIN. Visit www.uobgroup.com for details.

6. Phone Banking
Payment may be made by UOB phone banking service at 1800 222 2121 (24-hour) if you have a UOB Savings/Current account.

This is a free service and application forms are available at all of our local UOB Group branches.

7. AXS Station
Pay your card bill at over 180 AXS Stations in Singapore using your NETS ATM card or CashCard.

8. UOB Cash Deposit Machines

Payment may be made at any UOB cash deposit machine located islandwide. Just bring along your credit card(s) or 16-digit credit card number and payment amount with you.
