Title: Memory: Creator 2

Memory: Creator 2 is a story of love and remembrance between the artist’s mother and her when she was young. The artist’s mother loved knitting, sewing handbags and child’s gloves for her. The artwork is created using cloth and sewing technique to reflect their loving relationship, in memory of her mother who passed away. The rabbit is the only doll that her mother bought for her and the artist is using it to represent her. The artist wanted to show her meticulousness through the materials she used in her artwork. She uses photo silkscreen on a transparent satin to create transparency and visibility through the layers.
Ms Bungatayong is a fourth year student at the Faculty of Fine Arts (Visual Art), Prince of Songkla University Pattani Campus, Southern Thailand. In 2019, her artworks have been exhibited at Andaman Art Museum, Krabi, Thailand and in a group exhibition at the Young Artists Talent Art Exhibition. She skillfully used colours and materials to produce artworks that are gentle, fragile and soft to show meticulousness and femininity.
