The COVID-19 pandemic has deeply impacted lives and livelihoods. While many uncertainties remain, we have been supporting businesses and individuals through this challenging period with our #UnitedForYou COVID-19 Relief Programme. It continues to bring together the strength of the UOB network and our like-minded partners to offer various support options to help see communities, customers and colleagues through to better times.
For businesses, we have allocated S$3 billion in relief assistance to help SMEs cushion the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and extended access to relief measures like government-assisted financing schemes and the Special Financial Relief Programme.
For individuals, we have provided extended support scheme for home loans, relief programmes for credit, personal and car loans, and loan tenor extensions, alongside safe and simple digital banking access for customers.
For communities, we have raised more than S$1.65 million across 18 markets to rally our colleagues to support the most vulnerable in each of their communities. These funds have provided more than 1 million pieces of personal protective equipment for frontline healthcare workers and essential food supplies for disadvantaged groups globally.
