Confirm online transactions and purchases by tapping on the UOB Mighty push notification. This way, you are also alerted for any suspicious online activities not done by you.
JUST AS SECURE
For added security, you will be required to set up a unique 6-digit Mighty Secure PIN.
This PIN will be used for transactions such as:
Adding
of new payees
Updating of
mobile number
High value transactions
above your defined limit

With Mighty Secure, you no longer need to carry your physical token around. Waiting to receive SMS OTPs and keying them in are no longer necessary. Other than convenience, Mighty Secure is just as secure as it can only be registered on one device and only you will have access to your mobile device.
From September 2018, we will also be phasing out the use of the physical SecurePlus Tokens.
You can register for Mighty Secure as long as you are a UOB customer with Online/ Mobile Banking access and have a registered mobile number with the Bank.
To register for Mighty Secure, you need to download UOB Mighty from Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Launch Mighty Secure and tap on Secure. Follow the on-screen instructions to register. You would need your SecurePlus Token or Card Number and PIN for registering.
If you don’t remember your Card PIN, you can reset it depending on the kind of card you are holding.
- For ATM Card, you may visit your nearest Branch or fill up this form for a card replacement.
- For Debit/Credit Card, you may call our Hotline at 1800 222 2121 for assistance.
You can then register for Mighty Secure using your Card Number and reset PIN.
You would need to remove Mighty Secure from your mobile device and register again. Please refer to point 17 on how to remove Mighty Secure from your device.
You will receive a push notification on the mobile device you registered for Mighty Secure. Tap on the notification and UOB Mighty will launch with a pop-up on the transaction details. Tap “Confirm” on the pop-up to proceed.
If you did not receive the notification, there will be a prompt with instructions on how to proceed. Launch UOB Mighty, tap on Secure and follow the on-screen instructions on how to generate a One-Time Password (OTP).
There may be poor network connectivity or you may have turned off notifications for UOB Mighty. In such instances, follow the on-screen instructions on generate a One-Time Password (OTP) for your transactions.
You are still able to authorise transactions but the process will take more steps. You will need to launch UOB Mighty, tap on Mighty Secure and generate a One-Time Password.
If there is poor network connectivity and you are unable to receive push notifications, there will be a prompt with instructions on how to proceed. Launch UOB Mighty, tap on Secure and follow the on-screen instructions on how to generate a One-Time Password (OTP).
You can only register for Mighty Secure using one mobile device. If you register using a new device, Mighty Secure will be deregistered from the old device.
You should call us at 1800 222 2121 or (65) 6222 2121 (if you are overseas) and we will assist you in deregistering your lost device from Mighty Secure.
