Overview

The UOB FlexiYield Account is a notice account which gives a higher yield on funds when a 31-day notice is given prior to withdrawals. It is ideal for maximising returns on surplus corporate funds in the interim period leading up to scheduled payment dates.

Important Notice: With effect from 14 August 2023, the interest rate for the UOB FlexiYield USD Account will be revised. Click here for details. We will also update the Terms and Conditions for UOB FlexiYield Accounts (SGD) and UOB Global FlexiYield Accounts (USD) to reflect the change in interest rate.

We have updated clause 11 of the Terms & Conditions Governing Accounts & Services (Non-Individual Customers).

 

Features

A minimum first placement of 50,000 units in the chosen currency or such amount, as determined by the Bank from time to time.

Withdrawal condition • A 31-day notice must be given prior to disbursement of funds.
• A penalty will be imposed for early withdrawal where the withdrawal notice period is less than 31 days.
• Notice period commences from the day UOB receives instruction letter.
Early withdrawal penalty* • Penalty is based on higher of $50 or:
- SGD: 0.10% x 31/365 X [withdrawal amount];
- USD: 4.85% x 31/360 x [Withdrawal amount];
Minimum average balance SGD: S$8,000; USD: US$1,000
Fall below fee SGD: S$25: USD: US$15
Early closure fee S$50 or equivalent (for closure within 6 months of account opening)
Monthly statement Available

Note: For Foreign Incorporated Companies, Account Setup Fee of minimum S$500 applies.

Deposit Insurance Scheme

Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors and monies and deposits denominated in Singapore dollars under the Supplementary Retirement Scheme are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation, for up to S$75,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme member by law. Foreign currency deposits, dual currency investments, structured deposits and other investment products are not insured.
