Service Details Rates & Fees*
Import Letter of Credit (LC)
  • Sight LC
    Issuing Bank (UOB) will pay your seller upon presentation of trade documents from their bank.
  • Usance LC
    Issuing Bank (UOB) will pay your seller on a fixed future date after receipt and acceptance of trade documents from their bank.
  • Issuance of LCs
    1/8% per month, min ¼% or S$75 whichever is higher.
  • LC Amendments
    Increase of LC value: 1/8% per month, min. ¼% or S$75 whichever is higher.
    Extension of LC Expiry Date: 1/8% per month of outstanding balance, min. S$75
    Other Amendment: S$75.
  • Non SWIFT/Paper LC Issuance to Other Banks
    S$100 flat (this charge is in addition to Issuance/Amendment fee).
  • Usance LC acceptance
    1/8% per month from LC expiry date to due date, min. S$75.
  • LC overdrawn
    1/8% per month, min 1/4% or S$75 whichever is higher.
  • Discrepancy fee
    S$100 flat.
Import Documentary Collection (DA/DP)
  • Documents against Payment (DP)
    We release the import documents to you upon your payment.
  • Documents against Acceptance (DA)
    We release the import documents to you upon acceptance of the bills where you agree to pay the seller on a fixed future date.
  • Handling Commission
    1/8%, min. S$75.
  • Presentation Fee
    First Presentation: Free.
    Subsequent Presentation: $30 per presentation
  • Document to be released free of payment or without endorsement
    1/8%, min. S$75.
  • Reminders
    S$10 each.
  • Holding Fee
    S$50 per month (after 2 months).

  • Invoice Financing
    Finance your invoices according to your trade cycle for favourable credit terms and better cash flow management.
  • Trust Receipt
    Short-term financing to settle your import payments and obtain your goods on trust for resale, before paying the bank at maturity.
  • Handling Commission
    1/8%, min. S$75.
Shipping Guarantee Possess your goods at port prior to receiving the original shipping and transport documents to avoid demurrage charges.
  • Issuance under Letter of Credit
    S$75 flat.
  • Issuance under Collection Bills
    1/8%, min. S$75.
  • Unredeemed Shipping Guarantee
    1/2% for every 3 months, min S$75.
