Catching the market on a high
The best time to sell any investment is at the market's peak. That’s why ‘UOB Fixed Deposit Plus – Capture The Peak’ is structured to lock in the highest daily performance of a basket of well-known Singapore and Hong Kong shares: UOB, Singapore Telecommunications, Singapore Press Holdings, HSBC Holdings and Hutchison Whampoa.

The basket’s highest return in each quarter is averaged at maturity to give the Average Highest Quarterly Return. This value is used to calculate the bonus interest.

As there’s no cap on the bonus interest, your money grows along with the selected shares.

*For a 4-year NZD ‘UOB Fixed Deposit Plus – Capture The Peak’ structured deposit only. Interest rates vary depending on currency and tenor. Please read applicable terms and conditions.
1. The 100% principal guarantee is applicable only upon maturity of the structured deposit in its denominated currency. If the structured deposit is withdrawn before the maturity date, the redemption amount may be less than the principal amount.
2. The actual quantum of any bonus interest payment for the last year of the tenure will depend on the average Quarterly Highest Return, and the participation rate, and may be zero.
3. Guaranteed interest will be paid yearly for each year of the tenure, except for the last year, only if the structured deposit has not been withdrawn.
