Revision In Minimum Overdraft Charges



 

Q1. When will the revised minimum overdraft charges take effect?
The revised minimum overdraft charges will take effect on Thursday, 1 July 2004.

Q2. What are the UOB deposit accounts that will be affected by the revision?
The revision in minimum overdraft charges applies to all individual and business UOB Savings and Current Accounts that are overdrawn or that are in overdraft, with the exception of UOB CashPlus Accounts.

Q3. What are the revised minimum overdraft charges?
The revised minimum overdraft charges are as follows:

• For UOB SGD Savings and Current Accounts
  Minimum S$10 per month

• For UOB USD Savings and Current Accounts
  Minimum US$10 (or its equivalent) per month

Q4. Does the revision apply to UOB CashPlus Accounts?
No. The revision does not affect UOB CashPlus Accounts. There is no change to the current minimum overdraft charge of S$5 on a UOB CashPlus Account.

Q5. Are UOB deposit accounts in foreign currencies other than USD affected?
No. There is no revision in the minimum overdraft charges for UOB non-USD foreign currency deposit accounts at the moment. Please be assured that we will inform you in advance should there be any revision.
