Brunei Office Re-locates To Serve You Better
01 October 2005, Singapore and Brunei
United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) has officially opened its new branch premises in Bandar Seri Begawan, Negara Brunei Darussalam, on 1 October 2005.
At its new and bigger premises, UOB Bandar Seri Begawan Branch continues to provide a full range of banking services. This includes deposit-taking, remittances, trade services, corporate and consumer loans, and foreign exchange. The new banking hall also boasts a customer waiting area and customer service stations to enhance the banking experience of customers. In addition, customers will find the new branch location more convenient as more parking lots are available, right at the doorsteps of the branch.
With the opening of the new branch premises, UOB Brunei, which began operations in 1974, marks an important milestone in its history.
Permanent Secretary of Brunei's Ministry of Finance, Yang Mulia Dato Paduka Awang Haji Ali bin Apong, officiated at the opening ceremony of the new branch premises, on behalf of the Minister of Finance II. Other distinguished guests included Singapore's High Commissioner to Brunei and representatives from various divisions of Brunei's Ministry of Finance.

UOB Bandar Seri Begawan Branch is headed by General Manager, Mr George Lai, who has close to 20 years of banking experience.
