PT Bank UOB Indonesia Opens New Branch In Medan New Medan Branch is the ninth office of the banking subsidiary of Singapore-based United Overseas Bank 20 December 2004, Singapore & Jakarta PT Bank UOB Indonesia ("UOBI"), a majority-owned banking subsidiary of United Overseas Bank Limited ("UOB"), is pleased to announce that its new Medan Branch will commence banking services on 21 December 2004. As a full-service branch, UOBI Medan Branch offers a comprehensive range of commercial banking and treasury services, including deposits taking, loans to small and medium enterprises, foreign exchange transactions, as well as fee-based activitied, particularly the purchase and sale of travellers cheques and banknotes. The opening of UOBI Medan Branch is in line with UOB's vision to be a premier bank in the Asia-Pacific region. The presence of an additional branch will also enhance UOB's efforts to facilitate business ties between Indonesia and Singapore.
