United Overseas Bank Donates S$1 Million
To Community Organisations
Singapore, 25 September 2001 -
United Overseas Bank Limited is pleased to inform that 46 charities and
public bodies have benefited from the S$1 million compensation that it
received from DBS Bank.
The recipients include NTUC's Education & Training Fund (for the training
of banking sector employees), the four ethnic self-help groups (CDAC,
Yayasan Mendaki, SINDA, and Eurasian Association), medical institutions,
welfare organisations, old folks' homes, educational institutions, and
others.
